As part of a front of house security upgrade to the reception area, new automated fastlane type barriers were installed along with a purpose built reception desk.

The works had to be completed over a weekend after
enabling works for data and power were completed .

Built from maple and internally lit glass, the new reception desk needed not only to sit within the existing reception scheme but also accommodate a significant amount of security control equipment. It was also designed to comply with DDA requirements.
