We at Design at Work takes data protection and privacy very seriously. We undertake and review improvements to our processes and policies. We also ensure our staff understand their roles and the requirements. This External Contacts Privacy Notice sets out what personal data Design at Work holds about you, how we collect it, and how we use it for the performance of projects and some marketing. It applies to anyone in our contacts database.

Design at Work Ltd is a design practice based in Bristol UK and are the responsible body for deciding how we hold and use your personal data to comply with GDPR. Company Registration number 2307348.

What type of personal data do we hold about you?
We collect, hold and use the following types of ordinary personal data about you and it used only in the course of our design consultancy services. Your name Title Contact details

Why do we hold it?
Currently we only hold your business contact details for the general day to day communication during the normal course of a project. Newsletters
We are currently reviewing this but we will only send you information if we have received your prior permission or on your request for us to send you information.

What are the legal grounds for using your personal data?
We need it to undertake a project because you are a client or member of the professional team involved in a specific project or projects. We sometimes may need to retain your information for the duration of a contract i.e. and up for 6 years afterwards, or 12 years for a contract signed under deed. You have given prior consent that we may use your data to provide you with newsletters or invitations.

How do we collect your personal data?
You would normally provide us with most of the personal data about you that we hold and use ie Verbally Email address Business card Sometimes contact details are given by another member of a project team, such as a Client or Project manager again for use in the normal course of our duties and provision of our services.

Who do we share your personal data with?
We will not share your personal data with anyone. We are however required to do so on occasions during the normal activities of a project and the professional team members. We do not process your personal data with any robotic or profiling software.
